Stainless steel spiral wound graphite gasket is made of stainless steel wire and flexible graphite, the inner and outer ring are steel rings, reasonable design structure, standard manufacture, it has good sealing performance and compression resilience, it adapts to the corrosive medium in high temperature, high pressure, cryogenic, vacuum and operation parameter change sharply, it can be used in the LPG storage and distribution station, oil, chemical industry, oil refining, tank top into the hole.
There are four forms for stainless steel spiral wound graphite gasket : basic type, with the inner ring type, outer ring type, with the inner and outer ring type.
The internal reinforcement materials commonly used in the stainless steel spiral wound graphite gasket are SS304, SS316 or tinplate, thickness of 0.1~0.127mm, the forms are sprint plate, halftone plate, plain plate reinforced. The common material is the 304 reinforced graphite it can be made into the circular or geometry gasket and widely used in all kinds of pipes, valves, pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchanger, condenser, generator, air compressor, exhaust pipe, refrigerator etc.. The graphite gasket can also be cut into complex shapes such as water level gauge gasket, punching flange gasket and automotive diesel engine cylinder gasket.
The stainless steel spiral wound graphite gasket can be processed into the following forms according to the applications: basic type graphite composite gasket, wrapping inner edge graphite composite gasket, graphite composite gasket with wrapping outside edge and wrapping inside and outside edge graphite composite gasket. Graphite composite gasket in the form of the original gasket to maintain the excellent performance, but also easy to install and disassemble, not easy to damage, but also can prevent the erosion of the media on the gasket, improve the pressure. The commonly used wrapping material is 304 or 316 stainless steel.
